Become a Secure Volunteer
A Secure Volunteer is a person that has passed the online background check requested by the Madison City School System. The cost of this background check is $14.95. For the safety of our students, faculty and staff, we request that all parents and guardians become Secure Volunteers. Not all volunteer opportunities require this background check, although, we do have many situations when we are only allowed to use Secure Volunteers. One example: Only Secure Volunteers are allowed to ride the bus as a chaperon on field trips. The button below will take you to the Madison City Schools Secure Volunteer website. If you have completed a substitute teacher background check through Madison City Schools, you will not need to complete this one. Please inform the PTA if this applies to you. Once your information has been verified we will put you on our Secure Volunteer list. Thank you!
